When: Sundays, 10:30am – 12:00noon, All ages
Where: Main church building
Every Sunday morning we hold the central weekly meeting of the church where we gather together to worship God in prayer and song, celebrate the Lord’s Supper around the Lord’s Table, and be taught from the Bible.
The structure of our morning service is:
- Call to worship and opening hymn
- Celebration of the Lord’s Supper
- Bible Teaching
We use traditional hymns in our services, mainly taken from ‘Grace Hymns’ and ‘Christian Hymns’. We believe that Biblical worship should be reverent and God-centred rather than man-centred.
In teaching the Bible, our emphasis on Sunday mornings is expository preaching which aims to exalt God and move our hearts to obedience. You can listen to any of our recent sermons on our Sermons page.
All are welcome to attend our Sunday morning service, but participation at the Lord’s Table is reserved for Church members and visiting believers from other churches who have spoken to one of the elders.
Children are welcome too, and you should feel free to keep them with you for the whole service. If you wish, we offer a crèche for any children under the age of 7. Children are collected for crèche during the hymn following the Notices. The crèche is staffed by ladies in the church who have been DBS (formerly CRB) checked.
