When: Sundays, 6:00pm, All ages
Where: Main church building
You are warmly invited to our evening service on Sundays at 6:00pm which we dedicate to explaining the Bible’s good news, the gospel. This service would be the most helpful to attend if you are new to the Christian faith, or are searching for answers to life’s biggest questions.
What is the Gospel?
The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is able to forgive our sins, make us acceptable to God, provide us with power to live a life that pleases God, and guarantee an eternal future of bliss with God in the age to come. All this He accomplished through His life, death and resurrection 2000 years ago. God now invites everyone without exception to receive these benefits by confessing their sins, turning away from them, and coming personally to Jesus Christ for grace to live in obedience to God.
The service lasts for about an hour, and consists of traditional hymns, prayers, a reading from the Bible, and a Bible message. You can listen to any of the recent messages on our Sermons page.
Children are welcome too, and you should feel free to keep them with you for the whole service. If you wish, we offer a crèche for any children under the age of 7. The crèche is staffed by ladies in the church who have been DBS (formerly CRB) checked.
After the service we invite you to stay with us for light refreshments and opportunity for conversation. Ample car parking is available on the Church site.
